“WE SERVE” That is our motto. We help those who are in need and cannot afford to help themselves. We as Lions of Florida have the opportunity now to help one of our own.

Lion Ervin Kauffman of the Williston Lions club is in need of a Liver transplant.

Even thought their Insurance will cover most of the cost there is a lot that is not covered which included a deposit of $5000 needed to be put into the pharmacy at Shand’s Hospital to help cover his rejection medication.. Thanks to the generosity of the Bonita Springs Lions Club this amount has already been sent to Shands Pharmacy. . There will be numerous other expenses that they will need help with. His wife will have to take off work or approximately 3 months as he will need 24/7 care. She will not be paid for this time off.

A request was made to the Governor’s of MD35 that each club donate $25 to $50 a club or more if they are able to help with their expenses. We are hoping that all the Lions in MD 35 will step up to the plate and help one of our own.
